Emre Ekmekçi is a specialized leader in e-commerce and marketplace platforms. He currently serves as the Vice President of the Electronic Commerce Operators Association (ETİD). Emre has held the position of International President at Hepsiburada.com, Turkey’s largest multi-category e-commerce platform, where he was responsible for the international expansion of the group’s companies. During his tenure, he achieved an 81% increase in the company’s sales. He also served as the President of Business Development at Doğan Online Group Companies, managing e-commerce, portal, travel, private shopping, and online advertising businesses.

In Turkey’s e-commerce ecosystem, Emre Ekmekçi continues to play strategic roles in various business development areas and currently holds the position of Chairman of the Board at RubiBrand, an e-export consortium.

Emre holds an MBA with honors from Columbia Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Southern California.
