Merve Tezel is a leader with extensive experience in digital payment systems and financial technology. She currently serves as CEO of PayTR. Prior to this position, she held various senior positions at Visa Europe for over 14 years, leading the development and expansion of digital payment solutions as General Manager for Turkey. He also served as Senior Vice President at Garanti Payment Systems and Group Manager at Yapı Kredi Bank.

Tezel’s areas of expertise include digital payment systems, fintech innovations, customer relationship management and financial strategies. In his role at Visa Europe, he managed Visa Consulting projects in Southeast Europe and made significant contributions to the growth of the digital payment ecosystem. At Garanti Payment Systems, he led portfolio management and business development, and at Yapı Kredi Bank, he worked in new business development and product management in the credit cards department.
