Rafael is Director of Cross Border at ABComm and founder and CEO of e-CROSS, the first end-to-end cross-border SaaS platform enabling merchants to access the Latin American market through DTC e-commerce.

He has previously served as CEO of a global logistics company and as Managing Director for Brazil at a Venture Capital firm focused on AgTech and FoodTech startups. Earlier in his career, Rafael led the launch of Brazil’s largest agribusiness marketplace, as General Manager, overseeing the platform and its local team. He holds degrees in Mechatronics Engineering and Business Administration, as well as an MBA in Business Development and Market Intelligence.

In addition, Rafael has over five years of international experience in Germany, France, and UK. He is married to Brunna, father to Antonella, and enjoys competing in endurance triathlons as a hobby.
