Richard currently holding the country manager role in Amazon Turkey, has 25 years’ experience across various sectors including consumer goods, telecommunications, retail banking, consulting and energy.

Richard graduated from Oxford University of Politics, Philosophy and Economics.

He started his professional career at Unilever in 1996 and has worked in variety of executive positions in leading companies such as the Coca Cola Company, HBOS, Lloyds Banking Group, Nationwide Building Society and British Gas.

In 2015, he joined Amazon U.K., where he started working as a Category Director in the Retail team leading multiple product categories. He has continued to work in various commercial positions in Amazon U.K for Seller Services and the Marketplace Business.

Since 2019, he has been leading Amazon Turkey and is responsible for bringing the best of Amazon to Turkish consumers. He lives in Istanbul and Bodrum with his wife and 3 sons.
